The Carlton E. Sockwell
Scholarship Memorial Fund

In Memory of our beloved brother and teacher.

Carlton E. Sockwell

was a beloved brother, teacher and colleague, having taught for thirty-one years as a math teacher for the Sanborn Middle School.

Even in retirement, he kept up with students and colleagues as they moved on in life — always remembering a name and a face years later. His legacy of teaching, mentoring, caring, and being a friend to generations of students is legendary in the circles in which he traveled.

In honor of his older brother’s work, Kevin Sockwell established a scholarship in his brother’s name to support Sanborn students to continue Mr. Sockwell’s legacy.
